Please join us for our Sunday Meetup event.
We, the organizers of TJEX, realize that our events become full and they are getting full more and more ahead of the event date. However, usually, there is space for the following event so, if you can plan a week and a half in advance, you can almost always get a space. We also realize that our normal Saturday time slot is not convenient for everyone.
With that being said, we have decided to try an event on Sunday. Since this is the first one (at least the first one in a long time), we will see how it goes and depending on the success of it, we will decide on if we should have it again or not. If we do have it again, the success would depend on how often we have it. Any feedback is appreciated.
Please note the start time and location is different than on Saturday's events. But the basic schedule is similar:
11:30 am - Introductions, the meeting starts.
11:45 am-12:15 pm [The Japanese or English Half Hour]
12:15 pm-12:45 pm [The English or Japanese (depending on which we start with) Half Hour]
12:45 pm-1:00 pm - Wrapping up and brunch plans.
Try to be there at least by 11:45am. If you can't be there by 12:00, we may not be able to put you in a group. Try to be on time if not, it isn't fair for others who are on time. If you are going to really be late but would like to join for brunch afterwards, that's fine. Meet us at 12:45.
We are meeting at the food court on the 3rd floor of the complex. We will NOT be at Urbana Coffee.
Yes Novina, we are going to see what happens if we don't split the event this time. I will be hoping... Well, Akhil and my guest are Japanese so, we do have a few people already...
Does anyone know if the Yonge/Dundas Theatre complex is even open at 11:30 on Sunday morning? I am not sure so, just in case, please keep my phone number handy.
i think so, the earliest movie is 11am, but it's the morning after nuit blanche. ;_; if you see a zombie wandering over, that may be me!
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
we're not splitting this by english and japanese in hope that the numbers will magically work out? XD
(I'm sure it will, I believe in magic!)
