1:30 PM - Skate!
2:30 PM-3:00 PM - Break (ice maintenance)
3:00 PM-4:00 PM - Skate!
4:15 PM - Go for coffee/dinner (TBA & optional)

Skate rentals: $8 (ID required*)
Helmet rentals: $5 (optional)
Locker rental: $1 (loonies only; can be shared)

• We can teach you! Don't worry if you can't skate or have never gone skating before.
• Bring an extra pair of socks to keep your feet warm and/or in case the skates are too big.
• Wear layers so you can cool down if you become hot, or stay warm if the wind is strong.
• Wear gloves (ice can cut your skin if you fall) and a hat (toque) or earmuffs.
• The rink has a restaurant, skate-accessible washrooms, lockers, and public change room.
• Locker use is "at your own risk", so be conscious of what you put in it.

Anyone meeting us at the rink can take the Queens Quay/Harbourfront streetcars (509 or 510) from Union station and get off at the third stop (Lower Simcoe St.)  Let us know though so we don't wait up. I'll send my phone # to all those RSVPed 'Yes' before the event in case you need to contact me.

*ID: "A driver's licence, passport, birth certificate or citizenship card is required to rent skates and/or helmets. Student cards, credit cards, TTC passes and health cards are not accepted for rentals."

RSVP & Late Policy
If you RSVP "Yes", you are expected to show up. Members are removed from the group after their third no-show.

Waiting List
Once a Meetup is full, members can choose to join the waiting list. Should a spot become available, all waiting-list members will be notified by e-mail (regardless of join order.) Please note however that this spot is available to anyone - whether on the waiting list or not.
