Introduction

My name is Keiko and I am Nissei. I'm currently learning Japanese at Seneca College. I hope to become fluent so that I can speak to my relatives in Japan.

What is your overall Japanese level? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Native)

I would say that my Japanese level is intermediate. I can understand it better than how I can speak it. I have heard Japanese all my life but I never had the confidence to try to speak it myself.

What is your overall English level? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Native)

I would consider myself to be native English level. I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
